In most online games, when players purchase advantages or features, the money goes directly to the company behind the game. In KickoffBoss (KOB), things work differently. Some of these purchases go into a special in-game pool called the Partners Fund.
The Partners Fund is a unique, player-owned investment pool with 1,000,000 shares available. These shares can be bought and sold by users at any time.
Every month, on the 1st and 15th, the total balance of the fund is automatically distributed to all shareholders, based on how many shares they hold. After the payout, the fund resets and begins collecting capital again.
You can use your share of the fund:
To spend in-game (e.g., improve your club, buy players)
Or withdraw it from the game
The Partners Fund is capitalized through various in-game actions. A percentage of the following goes into the fund:
Player sales
Share sales
Recruit sales
Currency exchange fees
Youth spawn fees
Staff signing fees
Withdrawals from the game
The only expense the Fund covers is a commission paid to users who help grow the game by:
Investing in recruits
Supporting resellers
