To make the game more realistic, there should be a transfer window just like there is in real life. The idea is to have a transfer window from the 28th to the 31st, where clubs can buy and sell players, and another from the 12th to the 15th, considering that it would be the period between the end of the 1st round and the beginning of the 2nd. This would not be a restriction for players who are in clubs, but for players without a club. There would need to be a notification so that managers do not miss the transfer windows.

The aim is to make the game realistic, with a window the managers will have to fight for good players this will make the market hotter, the players who are on the free market, there would be no need, but the players belonging to clubs would. If the aim of the game is to seek reality.

It could make more realistic, but that's inappropriate to KOB.

The dynamics in kob aren't the same as the football market. There's not much transfers every day, which doesn't change the teams a lot over the season.

And there's the limit of 3 listed players at a time, and that would need to be adjusted.

And not too ignore that the end of season like that could be just 1 day on February, and would vary from 3 to 4 days.

Games like this need permanent transfer windows, so that anyone, at anytime, could improve their teams, and not just the avid player that's here all day.

Yes, I don't agree either.

Imagine that I have 2 injured DR players and I don't have any more. I can always buy someone for that position on the market. With this rule, I would have to play with players in the wrong position.

Realism is nice, but it's not always the best way to go in games like this. Think about a new user who starts playing right after the transfer window closes: he'd have to wait two weeks before he could even start buying players – that could be pretty frustrating (and also bad for game economy).

That's why most online football manager games have the market always available, probably

I always say this.. Once they don't see how it could be of benefits to their individual interests then it is a bad idea.

Am i the only one that understands scarcity is another means to control values?

Right now there too many player available in the market with no buyer looking out for them but with transfer market periodically shutting down and open again after weeks i see it improving the amount of transfer and negotiation on this period increases thus making transfer market more realistic, as the chances to buy or sell isn't forever available all season long anymore players engages on transfers opening days with most transfer having positive value exchange rates. Plus in real world do such sympathise for new manager at clubs having to wait till transfer market open mid season or pre season has to be a thing @maridiba :)

i dont think its a good idea but we can try it for 1 season sometime. Having the market open during off-season and on day 15.

If that would be the case then i suggest a lower count downs duh. 12hr count down or even 5 hrs to 2hrs player transfers count down. Market opening will be buzzing days :)

Nicmo, its a very bad idea to do this. Its also bad i think. Its also bad for income on federation and gameshares dividend and that we dont want. People must always be able to sell players or buy them. So please dont do this as update because its very bad and very unwanted.

Landlord, people must can buy players so a minimum of 24u is good. 2 hours or something is very unwanted because its possible that trade is at night when people sleep or are on work or whatever.

Except for the increased realism (without doubt a good thing), I don't see any relevant benefit in shutting down the market.

Transfer windows concentrate the demand, but also concentrate the offer so there should be more or less the same rate of successful transfers. The only relevant difference could be an increase in free market transactions and player releases if the free market always stays open

1. Realism and Immersion: Introducing a transfer window aligns KickoffBoss with real-world football practices, where specific periods are designated for player negotiations. This feature enhances player immersion, providing a more authentic and faithful experience to the professional football world.

2. Strategic Planning: With defined periods for transfers, players need to plan their actions in advance, considering factors such as team performance, injuries, and tactical needs. This time constraint adds layers of strategy to the game, making recruitment decisions more significant and challenging.

3. Market Valuation and Value Control: The scarcity created by the transfer window tends to balance the supply and demand of players, avoiding devaluation caused by a saturated market. This can lead to more realistic negotiations and fairer prices, better reflecting players' market value.

4. Competitiveness and Balance: By limiting transfers to specific periods, all teams have equal opportunities to strengthen their squads, promoting a more competitive and balanced environment. This prevents teams from excessively strengthening outside the windows, ensuring fairer competition.

5. Successful Examples in Other Games: Several football management games, such as "Football Manager" and "FIFA Manager," successfully implement the transfer window mechanic. In these titles, this feature is fundamental to the game's dynamics, directly influencing club management and player satisfaction.

6. Testing Period and Community Feedback: Implementing the transfer window initially as a testing period allows for evaluating its impact on gameplay and collecting player feedback. This collaborative approach ensures that the feature meets community expectations and can be adjusted as necessary before a definitive implementation.

By incorporating the transfer window, KickoffBoss not only enriches the user experience but also embraces the complexities and challenges faced by real-life football managers, making the game more engaging and challenging.

The time should be more reasonable.
Summer Transfers Window: Day 27 to end Day 2
Winter Transfers Window: Day 14 to end Day 16
---
February should have its own calendar

Absolutely NO.

1. It would make the game far more boring and interesting because you would not be able to check daily the market players. So the game would be even slower and less attractive than now.

2. With the market opened just a few days, you don't have time to sell a player and buy an other one who would fit your criteria. It would be too risky doing this type of operations.

+1

It makes the game more organized, so you will know which window you can buy and sell, giving the team manager a reason regarding the dates.

@nicmo,

About the window days.

It can be:
* mid-season: opening on the 12th at 00:01 and closing on the 14th at 23:59.
* end of season: opening on the 27th at 00:01 until the last day of the month at 23:59.

All bids that exceed the time limit must be canceled and the money returned to the team and will not be considered sold. Forcing the manager to be more organized even in the relationship between buying and selling players at the auction.
